TECOFASH is a project bringing together 7 partners from 5 EU countries with the main aim of promoting knowledge and solutions to support the creation of a competitive and sustainable fashion industry. The TECOFASH consortium argues that it is possible to build profitable companies in harmony with the environment and the social environment. For this purpose, an e-learning platform and a mobile application will be developed, aimed at both beginners and experienced entrepreneurs in the fashion and textile production sector.

Host organisation – Lottozero, whose headquarters is located in Italian Prato, in its daily work focuses on innovative approaches to sustainable textile design and supporting artists and entrepreneurs to experiment with textiles and fibres. During the meetings (21-22 March) the progress of the project in terms of its content and administration was discussed. The work done so far on the two project results was also summarised and the final steps needed to launch the e-learning platform and mobile app were planned. The finished products will be launched in November this year.

The two-day workshop sessions also included study visits. The TECOFASH consortium visited among others the Textile Museum and the textile district, where the project partners met the creator of the brand Rifò – Circular Fashion Made in Italy, which offers high-quality clothing and accessories using recycled textile fibres.
