On June 22, 2026, member companies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice gathered at a truly unique venue—Bajka Pana Kleksa at the Porcelain Factory. This space, brimming with imagination, color, and references to childhood memories, served as the backdrop for discussions about business, relationships, and new opportunities for collaboration.
This private networking event was organized for business owners, executives, and representatives of companies affiliated with the Chamber. Its main goal was to create an environment for direct discussions, the exchange of experiences, and the establishment of contacts that could lead to concrete business projects.
– We are here to help you enter into contracts with one another, but above all, to encourage you to discuss what you can undertake together and how you can collaborate – emphasized Tomasz Zjawiony, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Indstry in Katowice, as he opened the event.
The event was quite unique—a business discussion was combined with the atmosphere of a fairy-tale adventure, creativity, and freedom. Participants were able not only to get to know each other better, but also to see how the space of the former Porcelain Factory had been transformed into a place that inspires both children and adults.
The venue’s hosts were represented by Sylwia Basista from Bajka Pana Kleksa, who spoke about new projects being carried out at the Porcelain Factory. She drew particular attention to the “Tauron Green City of the Future” project—an educational, eco-friendly initiative aimed at children, teenagers, and families, scheduled to open in October 2026. She also announced Pan Kleks’ Night Academy, a new offering for adults that combines a retro atmosphere, fun, and collaborative missions in the world of Professor Kleks.
The partners for the event were Maple Bear Katowice and Blumy.
Representatives from Maple Bear Katowice presented the concept of a private Polish-Canadian school and preschool, operating as part of one of the world’s largest educational networks. Participants learned about a teaching model based on the implementation of two core curricula—Polish and Canadian—as well as language immersion. The school’s international character, projects carried out with schools in other countries, and practical amenities for parents—including summer care and an on-site kitchen—were also highlighted.
A key item on the agenda was the welcome ceremony for RIG’s new member companies in Katowice. Representatives from the following companies received their membership certificates:

During the meeting, President Tomasz Zjawiony also highlighted the Chamber’s upcoming initiatives, planned industry events, and expanding international cooperation, including in the Norwegian and Vietnamese markets. He also invited entrepreneurs to actively take advantage of the opportunities offered by RIG membership—from networking and specialized events to international contacts.
The June meeting of RIG member companies in Katowice once again confirmed that networking is much more than just exchanging business cards. It’s a space for conversation, inspiration, and building relationships that can lead to real collaboration. This time, the event took place in a fairy-tale setting—but with a very specific, business-oriented goal.
