Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice invites to the last event of the year – The Economic Closing of the Year combined with a Christmas meeting of Member Companies of CCI in Katowice, which will be held on December at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow.
Are you ready for change? It’s not only the slogan for this years’ European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, but the entire year. The only constant is change.This year for Entrepreneurs is quite a challenge. We live in a period of permanent change – from those aggressive and unexpected; to those emerging systemically, such as artificial intelligence and technological developments. At the meeting, we will summarize the past year from different perspectives, and consider whether we have taken advantage of the opportunities that change brings.
During the Economic Closing of the Year will feature the following speakers:
– Prof. Jerzy Buzek – Member of the European Parliament, President of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2012, Prime Minister from 1997 to 2001
– Jakub Chełstowski – Marshall of the Silesian Voivodeship
– Dr. Marcin Krupa – Mayor of the City of Katowice
– Maciej Malik – Chairman of the Board of the Future Industry Platform
– Slawomir Grzelczak – President of the Management Board of BIG InfoMonitor S.A., Vice President of the Management Board of Biuro Informacji Kredytowej S.A.
Jacek Walkiewicz, psychologist and well-known motivational speaker, will be the Special Guest of the event with his speech „Full POWER in times of change”. In addition, awards will be presented to the best participants of the training courses organized in cooperation with the City of Katowice – the Katowice Academy for Entrepreneur Development. During the meeting we will welcome new Member Companies of the Chamber. The event will be at the same time a Meeting of member companies of the CCI in Katowice in an open formula and an opportunity for networking over festive refreshments.
During the Economic Closing of the Year there will be a Christmas fair organized by the Fundacja Śląskie Anioły, during which you can support children from the orphanage in Katowice. Specially prepared for the occasion are extraordinary Christmas works made by talented children with disabilities.
The start of the meeting is at 5 p.m. It is scheduled to end around 8 p.m.
Participation is free of charge. Number of places limited. Due to the limited number of places, priority of participation in the meeting is given to Member Companies of the CCI in Katowice.

At the gate at the entrance to the Silesian Park, please collect a ticket – which will be validated after the event at the reception of the Stadium. From the validation of the ticket, the driver has 15 minutes to pass through the exit gate.
