The series of closed, networking meetings of Member Companies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice, created especially for owners and executives, invariably inspires and enjoys high attendance. On April 14, entrepreneurs met s in a new facility on the business map of the region – the KSSENON Business Accelerator in Żory.

Building a network of contacts, exchanging good practices, getting to know each other and supporting each other in achieving their goals – the list of benefits of networking and networking relationships among Chamber member companies is very long. The legitimacy of such events is confirmed by the April meeting. Importantly, the venue is not chosen at random. This time, the perfect space for first discussions and cooperation – in the future finalized by successful contracts – was the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which has been operating in Zory since October 2023.

Andrzej Zabiegliński, Vice President of the Katowice Special Economic Zone S.A., spoke about the advantages of the site, which offers many opportunities for business.

– This is a complex of four buildings with an area of 13 thousand square meters, combining industrial, service and office functions. We have small industrial halls for rent, premises for services, as well as 14 comfortable, air-conditioned coworking spaces and even our own kindergarten. KSENON is a new dimension of business aimed at micro and small companies, which is part of the transformation of the Silesian Voivodeship – stressed a representative of the KSEZ, welcoming the participants to the meeting.

On behalf of the event organizer, the guests were welcomed by Janusz Dramski, 1st Vice President of the RIG in Katowice. He presented the calendar of events organized by the Chamber in May and June. With special attention to – the European Congress of Industry and Energy INTO, to be held on May 29-30 in Wisła, and the fourth edition of the Health Business Innovations conference, scheduled for June 5 in Katowice.

The less formal part of the program was enriched by an integrative party, prepared by representatives of Chamber member companies: Anna Wilk of Go Classy – Business Etiquette, Anna Wilk of Korfanty – Property Appraisers and Dominik Wojcik of Buf Partner.

The attendees were tasked with preparing a contest of amazing offerings. An automatic excuse generator on how to look rich at ZOOM, a course on how to behave in an elevator when the entire board of directors is meeting, a mood checker app, a virtual assistant that just praises you, and… insurance for a hamster – these are the products for which you had to create an offer, operating, of course, with the language of benefits.

Teamwork, integration and a lot of laughter accompanied the development of the task, showing that anything can be sold if you have the right know-how!

A regular feature of every meeting among GIS member entrepreneurs is the welcoming of new Member Companies, an energetic round of 30-second introductions of their business, and finally a dose of networking talks.

This is another event that shows that as the Chamber we not only integrate the business community, but also successfully discover and activate new places on the map of Silesian business – concluded Janusz Dramski, 1st Vice President of the RIG in Katowice.

The next meeting of entrepreneurs affiliated with the Chamber, this time in an open format, is scheduled for May 19.

We welcome new Member Companies:
