This recurring event for the meetings industry in the Silesian Voivodeship took place this time in Lipowa, near Bielsko-Biała. At the foot of Skrzyczne, accompanied by the sounds of birds, participants explored the secrets of artificial intelligence.

The event, organized by the Silesia Convention Bureau, took place on June 12, 2026, at the four-star Zimnik Luksus Natury Hotel. It is a unique venue with great potential for hosting incentive trips. The proximity of mountain trails and sports facilities located near the hotel provides a range of team-building opportunities. The surrounding nature has a very positive effect on meeting participants, as the numerous guests who attended the 14th edition of Silesia Meeting Day were able to experience firsthand. In their feedback, they frequently highlighted this beneficial effect, as well as the event host’s great hospitality and professionalism.

Hosting this event is a source of great pride for us. My collaboration with the Silesia Convention Bureau has a personal and long-term significance for me. I first heard about the organization in 2023, while I was still working at the Crystal Mountain Hotel. Since then, I have closely followed its dynamic growth. That is why one of my first decisions after taking the position of director at Hotel Zimnik was to formally establish a partnership. Membership in the SCB brings tangible benefits not only to individual properties but also to the entire region. During our meeting, the Consortium members once again unanimously confirmed that this cooperation effectively integrates the industry community in the Silesian Voivodeship. It serves as an excellent platform for the ongoing exchange of experiences, building lasting business relationships, and initiating new, joint projects – says Tomasz Kurdziel, hotel director.

During the meeting, two more entities associated with the regional meetings industry officially joined the Silesia Convention Bureau consortium: the newly opened four-star Lake View Żywiec hotel and the Cudotwórnia Events agency from Sosnowiec.

Silesia Meeting Day always offers participants a wealth of practical knowledge. This time, the organizers focused on the highly topical and thought-provoking topic of AI’s role in our lives. The workshop “AI in Business: How Can Artificial Intelligence Streamline Work?” was led by Anna Prończuk-Omiotek—an expert in AI implementation in sales and marketing, who is a certified trainer and award-winning international speaker. The workshop was highly rated by participants. Participating in the workshop with Agent AI allowed me not only to organize my knowledge but also to practice applying it in real-world situations. The facilitator was extremely professional, and the entire event, as always, created a space for valuable networking and the exchange of experiences – says Magdalena Jarocka, Director of PR and Marketing at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice.

Regular program highlights included a presentation of SCB’s activities and plans, a tour of the facility, impromptu speeches by guests during the Open MIC session, and plenty of time for casual networking. A key moment of the meeting was the induction of Magdalena Rembek, DMC Director at Bespoke Agency Poland, as a new ambassador for the “Silesia. MICE is nice” brand. For years, Magdalena has been carrying out projects for clients from around the world, promoting Poland’s most interesting destinations for the meetings industry. Thanks to her ongoing collaboration with SCB and her participation in initiatives showcasing the potential of the Silesian Voivodeship, she has discovered the region’s unique opportunities as a venue for business events, conferences, and incentive trips—opportunities she is already promoting in her portfolio.

To me, Silesia is a region of courageous people who have bold ideas and aren’t afraid to bring them to life. When I tell clients about a golf course 320 meters underground or a dinner in a cave, I always see their surprise and delight. And that’s what I like most about this region—that it can surprise even me with something new. Dominika and Sebastian from the Silesia Convention Bureau have built a wonderful community that shows that when people work together, share ideas, and support one another, they can create truly exceptional things. As an ambassador, I’m happy to be able to show others a Silesia full of energy, creativity, and places they often don’t expect to find here at all – says Magdalena Rembek.

The “Śląskie. MICE is nice” Brand Ambassadors Initiative is the first project of its kind in Poland, demonstrating the important role that relationships, trust, and effective cooperation play in the development of the meetings industry.
