On Monday, February 3, 2025, the Sosnowiec Exotarium hosted a networking meeting for local entrepreneurs, organized by the Sosnowiec Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice.
The event brought together numerous representatives of Sosnowiec companies, and the meeting was attended by Sosnowiec Mayor Arkadiusz Chęciński and other distinguished guests, including Mateusz Rykała – Vice President of the Katowice Special Economic Zone S.A., Anna Jedynak – Director of the Silesian Center for Entrepreneurship, as well as representatives of the Sosnowiec City Hall.
The meeting was opened by Krzysztof Haladus, President of the Sosnowiec Delegation of the RIG in Katowice, who, together with representatives of the management board, welcomed the guests. Aleksandra Wanat, Vice President of the RIG in Katowice, also spoke, emphasized the benefits of membership Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice and encouraged entrepreneurs to become actively involved in the local business community.
– The benefits of membership are many. First of all, we focus on networking. Everything we do – our events, projects, activities, are aimed at creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs, – said Aleksandra Wanat, Vice President of the RIG in Katowice.
– I would like to encourage you to develop in our beautiful city, to invest here, and thus invest in yourself and your companies – recommended Arkadiusz Chęciński – Mayor of Sosnowiec, expressing his support for initiatives supporting the development of entrepreneurship in Zagłębie and emphasizing the role of local companies in building a strong city economy.
As part of a moderated networking session, participants had the opportunity to present their companies in short, 30-second presentations. This format allowed for the establishment of new business contacts and the exchange of experience between entrepreneurs from different industries.
An additional attraction was an integration game, prepared by the company “Cudotwórnia Events”, which allowed participants to get to know each other better in an informal atmosphere. The meeting ended with refreshments and an opportunity to visit the botanical and zoological garden free of charge, which was an excellent opportunity for further discussions and integration.
The February networking meeting was a valuable event for Sosnowiec entrepreneurs, allowing them to establish new business contacts, exchange experiences and promote local companies. The organizers expressed hope that such events will be held regularly, supporting the development of entrepreneurship in Sosnowiec.
