I am grateful for the opportunity provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice to meet with Polish SMEs and entrepreneurs to explore the vast opportunities of global trade with Alibaba.com. Poland has established itself as a dynamic and fast-growing export powerhouse, with key sectors ranging from machinery and electrical equipment to vehicles and furniture. Polish SMEs have a unique opportunity to expand their international reach through digital trade. At Alibaba.com, we are committed to providing businesses with the technologies and services, insights and connections they need to succeed globally. The future of Polish exports is digital, and we are here to help SMEs seize these opportunities. – commented Giancarlo Pastano, Country Manager Poland area at Alibaba.com

Export prospects and business digitization

Research and survey results presented at the event clearly indicate that the future of exports lies in digitization. As many as 75% of companies recognize digitalization as a key factor for success in international trade, and 74% predict export growth by 2025.

The biggest barriers for companies are a lack of trusted partners, limited products and raw materials, legal barriers and lack of access to adequate financing solutions. Alibaba.com addresses these needs by offering businesses tools to manage B2B sales, increase brand awareness and optimize export processes.

The event “GO EXPORT – Explore Export Opportunities with Alibaba.com” showed that Polish companies have great potential in exporting and can effectively develop their business on international markets. Thanks to cooperation with Alibaba.com, entrepreneurs gain access to global customers, modern e-commerce tools and sales and marketing support.

For companies interested in starting an export business on Alibaba.com, the right strategy, a well-prepared offer and the ability to build relationships with business partners are key. It is worth taking inspiration from the successes of companies like Planteon and capitalizing on the potential offered by the global B2B platform.
