A meeting of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice was held on April 24. In accordance with the adopted agenda, it was chaired by the Chairman of the Council Prof. Zdzislawa Dacko-Pikiewicz.

 

In the course of the meeting, Chamber President Tomasz Zjawiony summarized the activities carried out in the past year, as well as presented ambitious new plans and challenges for 2024.

 

In their speeches, the Chairwoman of the Council and the President of the Chamber emphasized the commitment of the entire, chamber staff, thanking them for their effective work to date, which has resulted in a significant increase in the number of chamber members. Currently, there are already more than 600 companies in our ranks.

 

The report on the activities of the Chamber, as well as the financial report and implementation of the Chamber’s budget for 2023, submitted to the Council, were unanimously approved, thus the President of the Chamber was granted discharge.

The Council also approved the Chamber’s program of activities and budget forecast for 2024.

 

 

Present at the meeting, Honorary President and founder of the Chamber Tadeusz Donocik, summing up, expressed his approval of the activities carried out in the Chamber and stressed that he was pleased to see its development on many levels.

 

Members of the Council, as well as employees of the Chamber, exchanging current information and planned activities, expressed further readiness to cooperate and successfully proceed with the topics undertaken.

 

The meeting also decided to change the amount of membership fees and entry fees. Other amounts will be in effect from May 1 this year for new Member Companies, and for those already affiliated with the CCI from next year.
