The winter edition of the event, which focuses on intensive networking and meeting potential business partners and customers, showed that this formula is popular and works very well. On February 9 this year, over fifty company representatives actively participated in the event in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

The owners and management staff of the Chamber’s Member Companies met in the unique, stucco-decorated interiors of the second largest monument of socialist realism in Poland – the Zagłębie Culture Palace in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

– We met here to learn about each other’s needs and work together on business matters. The Chamber’s branch office in Dąbrowa Górnicza is thriving, and we successfully cooperate with the city on many projects and events promoting entrepreneurship – emphasized Tomasz Zjawiony, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice, welcoming the gathered guests.

The host of the event, Deputy Mayor of Dąbrowa Górnicza Ewa Fudali-Bondel, recalled the industrial traditions of the city, which is currently focusing on innovation, attracting investors, and supporting entrepreneurship.

In the current unstable conditions, our city faces many challenges: energy transition, climate change. The Department of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Investor Services provides professional assistance. All this is done to ensure that the business sector feels comfortable and thrives here.

The guests were also welcomed by Grzegorz Drygała, Director of the Zagłębie Culture Palace, one of the youngest buildings entered in the register of monuments. The monumental building, constructed in 1958, was recognized as a leading example of socialist realism architecture in Poland just 20 years later.

– We welcome 200,000 visitors annually and have enormous potential for organizing business events. Our halls can host conferences, galas, and team-building events, combined, for example, with tours of the palace’s nooks and crannies. I also invite you to sponsor and invest in culture, which has important social potential, encouraged the Director of PKZ.

The networking event program included a welcome speech and the presentation of certificates to new Chamber entrepreneurs, as well as 30-second introductions of all participants, which were followed by individual conversations over refreshments.

The February event confirmed the need to organize such events among the elite group of Chamber Member Companies. This is also evidenced by the consistent attendance at subsequent editions and the satisfaction of participants with the valuable and enjoyable time spent, as well as the exchange of good practices and experiences in business activities.
